Jeremy Renner Injured Filming a Stunt on Set

Jeremy Renner, an actor who plays Clint Barton (AKA Hawkeye), in the Avengers film series sustained fractures in both arms while doing stunts for the action comedy Tag, according to published reports. His injuries were revealed at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic, where his new movie Wind River was being screened.

Renner fractured his right elbow and left wrist in an accident on set for Tag, a comedy by Jeff Tomsic about a group of friends who organize a worldwide game of tag. He’s currently sporting a cast covering his arm over his right elbow and a brace on his left wrist.

Renner says he doesn’t expect his injuries to affect filming the upcoming superhero movie, Avengers: Infinity War, which is expected to be released on May 4, 2018.

According to reports, the 46-year-old actor doesn’t seem concerned about how the fractures will affect his upcoming filming for Avengers, however, he has joked about having trouble tying his shoes in the morning.
